Documenting San Francisco’s Proposition K Campaign

In Fall 2024, I documented the campaigns for and against Proposition K: a ballot measure proposing the permanent closure of a two-mile stretch of San Francisco’s Upper Great Highway to private vehicles, transforming it into a park along Ocean Beach. This project was created for Intermediate Photojournalism at City College of San Francisco, taught by veteran photojournalist Jessica Lifland. I compiled the photos and interviews into a short multimedia piece as the course’s final project.
